The CNES offers an 18 months position in the quality assurance expertise laboratory, which is in charge of the support for space projects realized in Toulouse or in collaboration with other space agency or worldwide industries. The expertise laboratory is involved in four domains: Mechanic and material, contamination, technological analysis and microelectronic. The position is related to the microelectronic lab which is both involved in electrical defect characterization and localization at transistor level. The lab is deeply involved in the research of contactless failure analysis techniques and more particularly on laser based ones. In this framework, the candidate will be partly in charge of the development of an investigation technique allowing the internal probing of signals into silicon semiconductor devices. The candidate will have the possibility to manipulate advance technologies such as 28nm FPGA to experiment and improve the analysis method. Furthermore, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop test boards and program devices thanks tester equipment and eventually train to different mechanical chip access techniques.
The position is open to any young engineer with a background in semiconductor physics and microelectronic domain. Any experiences with bench setup and FPGA component programming are preferable and a good autonomy is essential.
