In order to know more about CNES’s business environment and monitor information related to external and internal challenges, a market intelligence procedure has been set up.
Reporting to the departmental head and working with the head of the “Intelligence and Monitoring” unit, you will be responsible for:
Setting up intelligence actions in cooperation with applicants for information. This entails:
- Defining the subject,
- Carrying out document searches using external sources such as scientific and technical databases and/or Internet,
- Processing collected data using business intelligence software,
- Drafting a synopsis of the documents to facilitate exploitation of data,
- Leading activities in conjunction with the applicant and experts.
Participating in the setting up of new information processing tools. This includes implementing the Business Intelligence platform: configuration, qualification and deployment of the tool while acting as the interface between the supplier and users.
Contributing to strategic, technological and patent monitoring activities conducted by the unit.
You are a qualified engineer in the area of business intelligence and monitoring or equivalent. An initial scientific cursus would be an advantage. Knowledge of business intelligence and monitoring platforms is highly desirable, ideally the AMI Software platform. You have an analytical mind and technical expertise, enjoy teamwork and find it easy to adapt.
Within the “IT System” Directorate, under the "Interfaces and System" Sub-directorate, the "Information Management" department is tasked with collecting, capitalising on and adding value to CNES’s information assets. As such, it is responsible for business intelligence and monitoring, knowledge management and company legacy, the Toulouse documentation and information centre (CDIT) and related services, in addition to governance of the “Integrated Portal” project.
